World Diabetes Day Program
In connection with World Diabetes Day, the Department of Natural Science and the Natural Science Subject Association 'Biomarvels' presented an awareness program. This was conducted along with the morning assembly. They showed us an animated video on diabetes and also conducted a quick exercise session in which everyone participated.
A quiz competition was conducted related to diabetes awareness in which the first and second prizes were won by commerce and social science respectively. A salad making competition was organized simultaneously and 20 minutes were given for preparation. It was fun making salad, cutting vegetables, plating and naming the dish. The first place in the salad competition was again won by the commerce department followed by maths and social science securing the second and third place. A spot competition was also organised which was a caption writing contest. The winners of caption contest were Gini securing the first place and Sandra securing the second place. The winners were given prizes immediately after the session. It was a fun and lively event.
